This document explains the process of configuring ESI Sub-Codes at the Master level and mapping to employees individually or in bulk within the StaffingGo application. This ensures that compliance ESI ECR generation with State wise - Sub code basis generation.
The ESI Sub-Code is used when an organization has multiple branches across different states or regions. Each sub-code represents a specific ESIC regional office jurisdiction.
Step 1: Master Level ESI Sub-Codes Configuration:
Login to the StaffingGo application with Admin/HR credentials.
Navigate to Company setup >>Statutory Settings >>Choose ESI Sub-Code Master. Click on Add New Sub-Code.
Enter the following details:
ESI Sub-Code (as provided by ESI department).
Subcode Zone Name: Input the Zone name
Location/Branch (to identify where the code applies).
Click Save to store the Sub-Code. Repeat the above steps to add multiple state wise sub-codes if required.
Step 2: Mapping Sub-Codes to Employees -Individually.
Navigate to Employee Module >>Search and select the employee record >> Navigate to HR details >> Statutory information.
Click on the edit option and select the ESI Sub-Code from the dropdown and map the same and save.
Step 3: Mapping Sub-Codes to Employees in Bulk .
Follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Navigate to Employee module dash board >> select the import option & choose the consultant details import option.
- Select the Update consultant details import option and click on the same option and download attached excel format to to prepare the date to import in the bulk.
- Prepare the excel sheet with referring the instruction page available in the import sheet. Refer the attached sample for your reference.
- Upload the prepared file in the choose file/ upload file option in Update consultant details report. Once imported, If the details was correct, again click on import option till System show the message as "Details saved successfully".
Note : During ESI ECR Generation , If sub code mapped employees will reflect under particula state subcode filter under for ECR generation.
