ESI Not-applicable Location Configuration

As per the ESI-complaince , for ESI computation depends on the employee gross salary as well as ESI application location. In the application default  few location has created as ESI non applicable location. If any changes need to create / modifiy in the ESI non applicable location folow the below mentioned steps:

There are few non-ESI locations available in Application where if any employee mapped to ESI Not applicable locations, for that person ESI will not be deducted even though he comes under ESI applicability accordingly to govt regulations.

To disable ESI Not applicable locations and map few locations as ESI Not Applicable/Applicable follow the below mentioned steps.

 1. Navigate to Settings>>Company Setups>>Portal Settings>>Common Settings>>Search for Allow to map locations ESI         Applicability. Accrording to this configuration default already existed Non ESI location will reflect in the application and no impact. Which ar the new location created after enabling this option only those are applicable for Non ESI.

Note: If required all location are applicable for ESI only need to enable this option without configuring the any non ESI location mapping.

 2. Navigate to settings>>Company setup>>Users>>Choose the user mapped user rol templateneed to enable with Allow to update location ESI applicable access for create the Non ESI location and save.

 3. Navigate to Compliance>>Statutory Masters>>ESI Locations. Refer below image for your reference.

• Add the locations only to which ESI is not applicable (click on “+” add location and submit)-Refer below image.
• ESI not applicable locations can be seen list wise, if you want to delete any ESI not applicable locations, click on inactive and update as inaactive.
