Allow to map Location’s ESI Applicability at master level

This option lets you define whether Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) is applicable for a specific location. When enabled, you can map ESI rules and applicability based on each location, ensuring correct statutory compliance during payroll processing.


Below are the steps on how the user can allow to map Location’s ESI Applicability at master in staffinggo portal:



ALLOW TO MAP LOCATION’S ESI APPLICABILITY AT MASTER LEVEL

  • Login as an Administrator
  • Click on Settings as shown below 

  • Click on Portal Settings

  • Click on Common Settings 


  • Scroll down under the general configurations where you will find the Location's ESI Applicability checkbox which you can enabled as shown below 
  • Once the checkbox is enabled, Scroll down and click on save.



IMPACT OF ENABLING THE ALLOW TO MAP LOCATION’S ESI APPLICABILITY AT MASTER LEVEL CHECKBOX


  • If the checkbox of Allowing to map location's ESI applicability is enabled, then the user will be make changes/configurations in the not applicable location's for ESI not applicable locations section as shown below once the checkbox is enabled:
    • Login as an Administrator
    • Click on Compliance 
    • Click on Statutory Master
    • Click on ESI not applicable locations section
    • Here you will be able to view an Inactive column which has appeared which you can make use to make the locations where ESI Applicability is there as per the latest government regulations
    • Once done those particular locations will not be applicable for ESI applicability.


  • When the checkbox is disabled, the user will not be able to make any changes or configurations for ESI applicability in the ESI Not Applicable Locations section. The system will treat all location-level ESI applicability settings as fixed.
