In the StaffingGo application, administrators can set specific fields as mandatory based on user roles and employee activities. This ensures that critical data is captured across different modules (Core App, Welcome Portal, Client Portal). Follow the steps below to configure mandatory fields.

Step-by-Step Configuration Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to Mandatory Field Master

  1. Log in to your StaffingGo Admin Panel.

  2. Go to:
    SettingsCompany SetupMandatory Field Master

Step 2: Select the Scope of Mandatory Field

In the Mandatory Field Master screen, you will find options to configure fields based on different platforms/modules. Choose the appropriate option:

  • A. Core App: Fields marked mandatory here will apply within the main StaffingGo application.

  • B. Welcome Portal: Fields will be mandatory for users accessing the Employee ESS (Employee Self-Service) Portal.

  • C. Client Portal: Applies to users accessing the Client Portal.

Note: You can configure different mandatory fields for each portal independently.

Step 3: Choose a Specific Module/Category

  • Each platform contains various modules or categories where you can apply mandatory settings (e.g., Consultant, Employee Details, etc.).

  • Refer to the attached screenshot in the system for visual guidance.

  • Example:
If you select Consultant under the Employee Module, any mandatory field added here will apply specifically to the consultant setup.

Step 4: Add Mandatory Fields

  1. Click the ➕ (plus) icon next to the desired category/module.

  2. From the list of available fields, select the field(s) you want to mark as mandatory.

  3. Click Save to apply the changes.

Important Notes

  • Mandatory fields configured here will take immediate effect across the selected module and user portal.

  • Ensure that selected fields are relevant and required, as users will not be able to proceed without filling them.

  • You can always edit or remove mandatory fields as needed by revisiting the Mandatory Field Master section.
