Follow the below mentioned steps to set up the Job Category and its corresponding Sub-Categories in the application.
Step-1 : Master Level Creation of the Job Category & Sub Category
- Navigate to Settings → General Master → Master → Sourcing & Requirement --> Job Category & Sub-Category
Select the Job Category -->>Create the master title of the job category name and save.
Master title is the text filed Ex: Mentioned IT, Mechanical , Support etc. and save the details.
The newly created Job Category will now appear in the Job Category list drop-down.
- In the similar way can create the Sub category also . Navigate to Sub category option.
- Navigate to Sub- category option-->> Create the Master title of the sub category and map the dependent on is mandatory. In the dependents drop-down will reflect the created Job category details and save.
For Bulk import process :
- For Bulk process to create the Job category & Sub category use the bulk import option which mentioned in the screenshot.
- Click on the import option and download the sample excel import sheet and prepare the format in the attached format.
- Reupload the prepared format under import and save the details in the application. Separate file need to prepare for Job category & Sub category. Job category first need to upload and followed further sub category need to upload. Refer the attached sample format.
Step-2 Mapping the Job category to employee.
- Navigate to the selected Employee Profile section-->> select the Skill Mapping option under the employee profile.
- Under the Skill Mapping section, Select the Job Category from the category dropdown list job category will load & in Sub category dependent sub category data list will load. Select and save the details.
Bulk Mapping (Import Method)
- Navigate to the Import section of the application under consultant module ,Select the Employee details importe option
- Choose the update consultant import option & download the same excel import and prepare the input details in the same sheet.
- Prepare the sample in the attached format as an example. and upload the file under upload excel file option and save the details.
- Ensure that the category and sub-category names exactly match those in the master.
Notes
Job Category and Sub-Category must be created before mapping to employees under Master level.
Always verify that spelling and capitalization in import sheets match master data.
If any records fail during bulk upload, review the error message for correction.
Sub-categories must always be linked/ Dependent to a parent Job Category.
