StaffingGo allows authorized users to transfer or change the approver for existing approval requests in cases such as:
Leave Approvals
Offer Letter Approvals
Offer Approval Workflows, etc.
This feature is designed to handle situations where the reporting manager (RM) needs to be temporarily replaced for a specific approval request.
When to Use Approver Transfer
The existing approver (e.g., RM) is unavailable.
Temporary reassignment of approval responsibilities is required.
Specific approval needs to be handled by an alternate authorized person.
Access Requirements for Changing Approver
Only users with specific Approval Transfer Access Rights can perform this action.
Steps to Provide Access:Settings → Company Setup → User Role Template → Approval Transfer Access
✅ Enable Approval Transfer Access Rights for the relevant user role template.
✅ User must relogin to reflect the updated access.
Steps to Change Approver for Approval Requests
Navigate to the respective Approval Module (e.g., Leave, Offer, etc.).
Locate the specific approval request where the approver needs to be changed.
Select the Change Approver option.
Choose the alternate approver from the available dropdown list.
Confirm the transfer.
Important Notes:
The new approver assignment is valid only for that specific approval request.
Future approval requests for the same employee or process will route to the regular approver as per the defined hierarchy.
This functionality ensures business continuity without permanently altering the reporting structure.
Example Scenarios
✔ Leave Request: Employee’s manager is on leave; HR transfers the approval temporarily to another manager.
✔ Offer Letter Approval: Offer triggered to RM, but approval reassigned due to RM’s unavailability.
