Overview
The Approval Workflow refers to the step-by-step process configured in the system to route requests—such as travel, leave, expenses, letter generation, etc.—through predefined levels of approvers before final approval or rejection.
This ensures that every action taken by an employee is reviewed and authorized by the concerned manager or department head, thereby maintaining:
Transparency
Accountability
Compliance
This guide explains how to configure Approval Workflow in Staffinggo at both Master Level and Client Level.
- Master Level Approval Configuration
- Login as an Administrator
- Click on Settings
- Click on Portal Settings
- Click on Approval Settings section and click on '+' icon to create a new Approval Workflow
- Click on Type to select for which module you would like to configure the workflow
- Click on Approve Type to select the first level approver type and Click on save
- If you would like to add a second level approver type --> Click on add --> Select the same module --> Click on Approve type and select the next level of approver for the same module
- Click on Save
- Other options in the Master Approval Section are as shown below:
- Clicking ion this type button would align your approval type in alphabetical order (A-Z) or (Z-A)
- This above option is the Reports option and by clicking on this you we have two options to download the report, one is at Company level where the report will be downloaded at company level and by Click on the ALL option we can download the approval matrix for all companies at once
- This above option is the refresh option where after you have added and successfully the newly added approval workflow, You can click on this refresh to view the newly created details
- This above option is the download option where we can download the entire existing approval workflows which are currently existing in the Staffinggo Portal.
- Client Level Approval Configuration
- Login as an Administrator
- Click on Client --> Filter out the desired Client
- Click on the selected Client
- Click on Settings --> Click on Approval Settings
- Click on '+' icon to create a new Approval Workflow
- Click on Type to select for which module you would like to configure the workflow
- Click on Approve Type to select the first level approver type and Click on save
- If you would like to add a second level approver type, Follow the same process --> Click on add --> Select the same Approve type under the type section --> Click on the Approver type select the next level of approver for the same module.
- Click on Save
- Other options in the Consultant Approval Section are as shown below:
