Leave Policy configuration and Leave updation to Employee

In the application to manage the Attendance regularization Leave management is also a part to manage the attendace activity.As per the leave policy, leave details need to be configured along with carry-forward options for each leave year. 


Steps to Configure Leave Policy & Template and Map it to Employees:


Follow the below mentioned steps to configure the leave policy and leave mapping to employees:


Step 1: Leave Type/ Category configuration

  • Navigate to Setting List >>Staffing Master >>Leave Type>> Create the each leave category as per the leave policy.
  • Create leave categories as per the leave policy, such as:

    • Casual Leave (CL)

    • Privilege Leave (PL)

    • Sick Leave (SL)

    • Maternity Leave

    • Paternity Leave, etc..

    • Note: Each option in the leave type play a specific role with leave credition system. Read all option enable if necessary 




Step 2: Create Leave Templates

  • Create the leave template using the leave type. Leave template may differ from client to client 0r location wise etc..

  • Navigate to Setting list >> Staffing template >> Choose the Leave >> Create new leave template using the 
  • Create the new leave template title and add the applicable leave type with declaring the number of leaves per year details & carry forwod limit using + Symbol .
  • Click on edit option against each leave type and update Update details such as:
    • Carry-forward limits.

    • Number of leaves per year.

    • Leave year duration.

    • Eligibility criteria based on Date of Joining (DOJ), if applicable.

    • Save the template after making changes.


Step 3: Map Leave Templates to Billing Options

  • Map the created leave template w.r.to client-contract mapped billing option. In order to auto allocate the same leave teamplate for new joiners.
  • Navigate to setting list >> Staffing Master >> Billing option >>Chose the specific billing option and map the created leave template under the leave template drop down in billing option and save.


Step 4: Leave template Mapping to Employee

  • Based on the leave year update the proper carry forword leaves along with new balance to employee in yearly once.
  • Leave updation can achive in bulk excel import and follow the below mentioned process to upload in bulk
  • Navigate to Employee module >> Import option >> Chose the Employee leave details import >>Download the excel import sheet.
  • Prepare the Excel import with proper leave details . Allocate the each leave category with open carry forword, new balance & utilization leaves details. Refer the attached sample formate. Import the leave details and save .
  • Imported leave details will reflect in the HRMS and credition will happens as per the configuration.

Step 5: Leave Balance Report

  • Navigate to Reports >>Attendance Report >>Refer the Employee Leave Balance Report.
