Mapping an Independent Credit Note Against an Invoice in StaffingGo

Purpose

This functionality allows users to map an existing Independent Credit Note against a specific invoice and adjust the invoice receivable amount accordingly.


Step 1: Open the Invoice

  1. Navigate to Financials from the main menu.
  2. Open the invoice against which the Independent Credit Note needs to be mapped.


Step 2: Access Record Collection

  1. Open the required invoice.
  2. Click on Record Collection.

The system will display the following options:

  • New Receipt
  • Advance Collection
  • Independent Credit

Step 3: Select Independent Credit

  1. Click on Independent Credit.
  2. A dropdown list will appear containing all previously generated Independent Credit Notes.


Step 4: Choose Credit Note and Enter Amount

  1. Select the required Independent Credit Note from the dropdown.
  2. Enter the Credit Note Amount that needs to be adjusted against the invoice.




Step 5: Save the Mapping

  1. Verify the selected Credit Note and amount.
  2. Click Save.

The selected Independent Credit Note will be successfully mapped against the invoice.



Expected Result

After saving:

  • The selected Independent Credit Note will be linked to the invoice.
  • The invoice outstanding amount will be adjusted based on the mapped credit amount.
  • The transaction will be reflected in the invoice collection details.

Note: Only active and available Independent Credit Notes will be displayed in the selection dropdown.


Quick Navigation

Financials → Invoice → Open Invoice → Record Collection → Independent Credit → Select Credit Note → Enter Amount → Save
