Map ESI Subcodes with employees

Why should we map ESI Sub Code with an Employee?

An employee’s ESI No./IP No. will be generated by linking with the company’s registered ESI Sub Codes.
Monthly ESI statutory filings (ESI ECR) will be submitted based on the employee’s mapped ESI Sub Code.

Prerequisites to map ESI Sub Codes with an Employee

1. Save/Record Company Registered ESI Sub Codes

Navigation:
Settings → Company Setup → Statutory Settings → ESI Sub Codes

2. Map the Employee with ESI Sub Codes

Navigation:
Employee Details → HR Details → Statutory Information → ESI Information

You can also update an employee’s ESI Sub Code in bulk using Excel Import under “Update Employee Details.”
