StaffingGo – Monthly Release Notes

1. Master Configuration & Core Controls

1.1 E-Code Generation Enhancement

  • E-code generation is now supported based on the defined hierarchy:

    • Client

    • Cost Center

    • Contract

    • Employment

  • If E-code configuration is not defined at any level, the system will automatically generate the E-code from the Master-level Auto Number configuration.

1.2 Read-Only Access for Salary Data

  • Introduced configurable Read-Only access for:

    • Salary Structure

    • Salary Headers

  • Access can be controlled via User Access Roles, ensuring data confidentiality.

1.3 Approval Workflow Audit Logs

  • Detailed log and audit trail is now available:

    • At Master configuration level

    • At Client configuration level

  • All approval actions (created, modified, approved, rejected) are captured with user and timestamp details.


2. Statutory & Compliance Updates (High Priority)

2.1 Shops & Establishments Act – Forms Supported

  • Tamil Nadu:

    • Form P, Q, R, S, T

  • Uttar Pradesh:

    • Form CC, D, E, G, H

2.2 ESIC Sick Leave Validation

  • For ESIC-applicable employees, Sick Leave will not be applicable until the ESIC cycle ends.

  • Behavior is driven fully through configuration settings.


3. Attendance & Shift Management (High Priority)

3.1 Reporting Manager Shift Controls

  • Reporting Managers can now:

    • Change Shift details in bulk

    • Previously restricted to HR Admin only

  • If shift change rights are enabled for employees:

    • Requests will flow through Reporting Manager approval

3.2 Late Mark & Short Days Visibility (ESS)

  • Based on mapped shift:

    • Late arrivals will reflect as Late Mark count

    • Displayed under Attendance Dashboard → Short Days (ESS Portal)

3.3 Week-Off Eligibility Rule

  • To avail Week-Off:

    • Employee must be Present for at least 5 days in the preceding 6 days

    • All leave types are considered

    • LOP excluded

  • If criteria not met:

    • Week-off treated as Absent

3.4 Miss Punch Classification

  • In Attendance Details Report:

    • Miss Punch cases will be displayed as Absent (MP)

3.5 Comp-Off Half Day Credit Support

  • Employees can now avail Half-Day Comp-Off credit balance based on the configured policy

  • Comp-Off request will be auto-routed to the Reporting Manager for approval. Once the Reporting Manager approves the request, the Comp-Off will be automatically credited to the employee’s leave balance

  • However, while raising a Comp-Off request in the system, employees can apply only for a Full-Day Comp-Off. Half-day Comp-Off is applicable only at the credit/balance level


4. HR Configuration Enhancements (High Priority)

4.1 New HR Configuration Options Introduced

  • EnableShiftChangeApproval

  • AllowPastDatedGatepass

  • IncludeGatepassInTotalHrs

  • MinGatepassRequestMins

  • EnableRmBulkShiftRosterUpdateESS

  • EnableOTHrs


4.2 HR Option at Staffing Level

  • HR Option is now available:

    • At Staffing level


5. Leave & Employee Lifecycle Enhancements (Medium Priority)

5.1 Special Leave Validations

  • Birthday Leave validation supported

  • Wedding Anniversary Leave validation supported

5.2 Employee Wedding Date

  • Wedding date field is now supported and linked to employee master for:

    • Leave eligibility

    • Anniversary-based validations



6. Payroll, F&F & Reimbursements (Medium Priority)

6.1 Full & Final Payslip Enhancement

  • Added support for Total Number of Years Worked tag in F&F Payslip.

6.2 Reimbursement Template Enhancement

  • Missing columns added in Reimbursement Dynamic Templates to ensure complete data capture.


6.3 Exit Month Payroll Deduction Control

  • Salary Headers configured as Deduction in CTC/Salary Structure:

    • Will not be deducted during exit month payroll processing



7. Finance, Invoice & Tally Integration (High Priority)

7.1 Invoice Group Tagging

  • Invoice Group details can now be:

    • Tagged in Invoice Narration

    • Displayed in Invoice Documents

7.2 Tally XML – Transaction Date Support

  • During Tally Posting initiation:

    • New option to capture Transaction Date

    • Same date is reflected in generated XML (DATE field)

7.3 Tally Voucher Enhancements

  • Invoice Tag supported in XML

  • Journal Voucher (JV) Tag supported in XML


8. Delegation & Workflow (Medium Priority)

8.1 Delegation Framework

  • Introduced Delegator / Delegatee functionality

  • Enables continuity of approvals during:

    • Leave

    • Absence

    • Role handover
